So yeah it’s not a travel post but I’m posting anyways cause I was in a panic state for a good most of the night. So Century Link had an outage yesterday. For the first 2 hours it kept telling me we didn’t have an outage and it finally trickled through that we did. Now I work from home and internet usage is crucial. If the internet wasn’t working this morning I wouldn’t have been able to work and would’ve accrued a point. I really can’t afford another point because yeah shit has been weird at home so I missed a lot of work. That being said I woke up this morning and the first thing I did was to check if we were still in an outage. Century Link says we are. Insert meltdown mode here. I then go into my office and just on a hunch check the modem. Lights say I should be good. I then test my Alexa device to see if it will work. It did. I then put my phone back on Wi-Fi and tried a few things. I’m functional. Yay!! No point accrued. Century Link you failed hard. Ok my pontification is done now. Carry on.
